What You’ll Actually Be Doing(aka no surprises later)
- See your clients every week, run assessments, set goals, and write the behavior plans and programs.
- Supervise and train your RBTs, and collect and analyze the data.
- Consult with families, make recommendations, and collaborate with the other providers on each case.
- Run social skills groups, ABA events and parent trainings, prep materials, and attend team meetings.
3
Caseload & Support Transparency(because details matter)
- Caseload size — Guaranteed under 10 (usually 7–8 clients)
- Billable hour expectations — 24–25 hours a week
- Support structure — An open-door policy with the Executive Director and frequent case meetings to brainstorm and problem-solve. Mentorship is built into the role: BCBAs get support every day and never navigate cases alone.
- Billing — Flexible and set by you. Hours are built around what clients need, not company financial targets.
