What You’ll Actually Be Doing(aka no surprises later)

  • Run assessments and build individualized programs that carry into everyday life, not just the therapy room
  • Supervise, train and mentor a team of well-trained RBTs, hands on
  • Partner with families and other professionals so skills generalize
  • Collaborate with the clinical directors and fellow BCBAs on your cases
  • Program creatively, within your scope of practice

Caseload & Support Transparency(because details matter)

  • Caseload size — Average caseload of 9–10 clients
  • Billable hour expectations — A set weekly billable minimum for your position (full-time is 25 hours a week), with your caseload shaped so you can meet or beat it
  • Support structure — A collaborative team of clinical directors and BCBAs where questions are welcome, help with time management and caseload planning when you want it, and RBTs trained to run your programs with fidelity
  • Schedule — Flexible. This isn't a strict 8–5. Once your RBTs are supported and your caseload is covered, you shape your own day, plus one work-from-home day a week. When you leave for the day, the work stays at work
