What You’ll Actually Be Doing(aka no surprises later)

  • Do the direct work yourself. This clinic is growing a BCBA direct-service model and is hiring for it.
  • Run initial assessments and reassessments, then write the treatment plan.
  • Set each kid's skill-building and behavior goals.
  • Do 1:1 sessions on behavior reduction and skill building, and take the data.
  • Run FBAs and write the behavior intervention plans.
  • Train caregivers, and work with families and other providers so the plan holds up at home too.
  • Watch progress, change course when the data says so, and keep notes current.

Caseload & Support Transparency(because details matter)

  • Caseload size — 2–3 clients max
  • Billable hour expectations — At least 25 hours a week, usually up to 30. More hours if you want them.
  • Support structure — 1:1 mentoring and coaching
