Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location(s): Greater Richmond, Henrico, and Chesterfield, VA

Setting: Primarily home-, school-, and community-based

Population Served: All ages

Employment Options: Full-time or part-time


What You'll Actually Be Doing (aka no surprises later):

  • Provide ABA services in clients’ homes, schools, and community settings based on individual needs.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Implement, monitor, and adjust treatment plans using ongoing data and client progress.
  • Train and support caregivers, staff, and other members of the treatment team in carrying out behavior strategies.
  • Collect and analyze data to guide clinical decisions and measure meaningful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in CentralReach while maintaining HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.


Caseload & Support Transparency (because details matter):

Caseload size: BCBA's are able to choose how many clients they service

Billable hour expectations: varies based on how many clients the BCBA wants to take on

Compensation & Perks (real ones):

Hourly compensation: $80–$110 per hour, based on experience

Salaried compensation: $90,000–$130,000 annually, based on experience

PTO: Accrued paid time off
