Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Colorado Springs, Colorado

Full-Time85k/year - 105k/year

Where you'll be working:

Location(s): Colorado Springs, Colorado

Setting: In-Home & School-Based

Population Served: Ages 2-40 years

Years in Operation: Founded in 2025

What You'll Actually Be Doing (aka no surprises later):

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans grounded in function-based programming, including Practical Functional Assessment where appropriate

• Supervise RBTs with a minimum of 2 hours per client per week, including live fidelity checks, modeling, and BST-based training

• Deliver parent training using BST methodology and collaborate closely with caregivers to define and pursue meaningful, family-driven goals

• Use data to drive phase transitions and intensity changes, with discharge as the stated clinical goal — not a revenue problem

• Collaborate with the Clinical Director on complex cases and ethical questions; clinical decisions are the final authority in writing

Caseload & Support Transparency (because details matter):

Caseload size: Capped at 9–10 clients by design

Billable hour expectations: Under 24 hours per week

Support Structure:

• Direct access to the Clinical Director (Owner-BCBA) as final clinical authority and hands-on mentor — not routed through layers

• Dedicated admin team handles billing, scheduling, and credentialing so BCBAs focus on clinical work

• Individualized RBT onboarding: competency-based, supervised by the BCBA, scaled to each RBT's skill level and assigned learner

• Bi-weekly team meetings and team outings every three weeks; structured weekly check-ins for all staff

• Proprietary data tools that surface session quality, RBT fidelity, and client progress in near real-time

Compensation & Perks (real ones):

Base salary: $85,000–$105,000 (set by experience and credentials)

Bonus structure: Quarterly performance-based bonuses on short, performance-proximate cycles; compensation tiers and advancement criteria are published and objective

PTO: 15+ days

Health benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision

Paid Holidays: All major holidays

CEU support: $1,500 CEU reimbursement budget

Supervision/mentorship provided: Hands-on mentorship from Clinical Director (Owner-BCBA); supervision scheduled by clinical need and payer requirements, never by internal revenue targets; no billing-tied supervision

Schedule flexibility / remote options: Hybrid model — approximately 50% in-person (direct observation, live fidelity, RBT development) and 50% remote (caregiver training, data review, treatment planning); flexible scheduling within 8:00 am–7:00 pm operating hours

Additional perks:

• Mileage reimbursement at the current federal rate plus paid travel time between clients

• Paid sick leave (Colorado HFWA accrual) and participation in Colorado FAMLI paid family and medical leave

• Two defined advancement tracks: Clinical track (BCBA → Senior Clinical → Clinical Lead → Clinical Director) and Mastery track (BCBA → Expert Clinician → Master Clinician) — Clinical Director seat currently open

• Veteran-founded, owner-operated, zero private-equity involvement — small enough that your voice shapes how the company runs

If it's listed here, it's real.

Why This Is a Green-Flag Clinic

This organization meets our standards in:

• Genuinely low caseload with a hard cap — protected by design, not just policy

• No billing-tied supervision — confirmed

• Transparent, published compensation with objective advancement criteria

• Strong clinical autonomy with a written rule that clinical decisions outrank operational and financial ones

• Generous PTO with a comprehensive benefits package

We don't certify everyone, and we definitely don't promote clinics we wouldn't work at ourselves.

You'd Be a Great Fit If You:

Are a credentialed BCBA

Care deeply about ethical, high-quality ABA

Want to practice the way you were trained — with discharge as the goal, not a revenue problem

Thrive with clinical autonomy and want your judgment to actually be the final word

Are interested in a clear, defined growth pathway — including a leadership track that's available now, not someday

Want to be part of building something from the ground up at a small, veteran-founded company with zero PE involvement

Believe the science should work for the client, not the other way around
